Revisions to the Medical Devices and Active Implantable Medical Devices Directive

Revisions to the medical device regulations were made in 2007. The revisions to the Medical Devices and Active Implantable Medical Devices (AIMD) Directives were specified in the revision Directive 2007/47/EC, and came into force through the Medical Devices Amendment Regulations SI 2008 No 2936 which came into force on 21 March 2010.
