Title: Views required researchers trainining requirements
Date: 19/07/2012
News:

HRA's statement - Your view required on the 'training requirements for researchers'

On 16 July 2012 the Health Research Authority (HRA) announced the following statement (attached) on the requirements for researchers to undertake training.

The HRA is committed to implementing a unified approval process with proportionate standards for compliance and inspection, collaborating with others to improve the environment for research in the UK. The HRA urges the adoption of a more proportionate approach and consideration of appropriate training requirements.

The HRA invites views on this statement, its adoption and barriers to adoption by the end of December 2012.

The HRA will consider options on the suitability of providing further guidance to inform and support proportionate judgements on requirements for training in light of feedback received.
