Salary: £25,616 – £34,652
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the IT
team in the Clinical Trials and Statistics Unit at the Institute of
Cancer Research to provide database and related IT support to our
section and affiliated staff. The role will be centred on constructing
clinical trial databases using commercial products and providing first
and second line IT support on the Unit’s IT Helpdesk. Training will be
provided where necessary and you should be keen to develop your
general IT skills and knowledge, in particular within database design
and programming. Excellent communication skills are essential, as team
working and liaison with end users are an important part of the role.
The post holder will join a team of seven IT staff supporting the
Unit’s scientific work in multi-centre Phase I, II and III clinical
Applicants should hold a first degree in Computer science, Computing
or a scientific or numerate subject and this post would provide an
exciting opportunity for a recent graduate.
